We're excited to introduce you to our Fused Glass Classes for 2026!
 

At Lea's Loft, we take a personalized approach to teaching. We don't run standard group classes—instead, we customize the training based on each student's individual learning needs, goals, and experience level. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine specific techniques, we tailor the course to you.

One-Day Introductory Course

We recommend starting with our one-day introductory session to get a feel for fused glass and see if it sparks your creativity.

Investment:

  • R300 per hour (excl. VAT) for hands-on training and guidance

  • Plus the cost of glass and kiln firing

  • Total for a basic project: Approximately R3,000 – R3,500

This gives you the opportunity to learn foundational techniques, create your own piece, and take it home once fired.

On the day of your training, you’ll receive 20% off all Bullseye glass and accessories purchased in-studio.

​

This allows you to:

  • Select the correct glass for your projects with expert guidance

  • Build your starter collection at a reduced cost

  • Leave the workshop ready to continue working confidently at home.

3½-Day Intensive Course

If the one-day experience inspires you and you want to dive deeper, we offer a 3½-day intensive course that covers a wide range of fusing techniques—from layering and pattern work to advanced textures and design.

Investment:

  • Approximately R15,000 – R20,000 (excl. VAT)

  • Includes all training, glass, and kiln firing costs

  • You'll get to keep all the pieces you create

This course is ideal for those serious about developing their skills and building a strong technical foundation in fused glass.

Participants receive 20% off all Bullseye glass and accessories for a period of three (3) months following completion of the 3½-Day Intensive Course.

​

This extended privilege is designed to:

  • Support continued practice and skill development

  • Reduce material costs while building momentum

  • Help you establish a sustainable fused glass practice after the course

​

Discount valid for three months from the workshop completion date.

To ensure an exceptional, focused learning experience, Lea’s Loft workshops are intentionally exclusive.

• Only ONE One-Day Introductory Course is offered per month
• Only ONE 3½-Day Intensive Course is offered per month

​

Each workshop is reserved for either one individual or one couple only — no groups, no distractions.

 

This allows for:

  • Fully personalised instruction

  • Hands-on guidance at every stage

  • Deep technical insight tailored to your goals

  • A calm, unrushed studio environment​

​

Once a monthly slot is booked, it is closed.

Early booking is strongly recommended.

Please note: These courses are not accredited and do not lead to a formal certification or qualification. They are designed as hands-on, skills-based workshops for personal creative development and technical learning.

We don't require a deposit, as we understand that plans can change. We value flexibility and trust.

​

For your convenience, we also offer self-catering accommodation at R900 per night (excl. VAT) if you're traveling from out of town.
